Stain and Odor Blocking Primers
Prime and seal a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces such as new drywall, wood, masonry, metal, glossy surfaces, and more. It is great for hard-to-stick surfaces like old glossy paints and clear finishes, metal, fiberglass, PVC, composites and even glass and tile. Seals and tones the surface. Resistant to the formation of mold and mildew on the underside and surface of the primer film, prolonging the life of your paint job. Inhibits rust formation when applied over clean ferrous metal such as iron and steel, eliminating the need for a separate, rust inhibitive primer. It dries to a smooth, tight film and resists flash rusting. Inhibits long-term rust from developing under the primer film when dry, making it ideal for priming interior and exterior metalwork such as iron railings, steel doors, and metal panels. Use over or under oil or water-base paints. The water-based formula is a great all-purpose stain killer with low odor and easy soap and water cleanup. May be tinted with many universal colorants. Use the Gray Primer with rich or dark topcoat colors to improve their hide and coverage. Dries in 1 hour. 1 gallon covers approximately 450 Sq. Ft.
High modified alkyd-base stain blocker is designed for interior and exterior surfaces damaged by fire, smoke, or water. Interior surfaces include ceilings, walls, doors, trim, cabinets, furniture, and related paintable surfaces. Exterior surfaces include exterior siding, fascia, soffits, trim, doors, walls, foundations, railings, and related paintable surfaces. Sticks to all surface and sands easily. Excellent tannin blocker - use to seal bare cedar and redwood. Cover stain is white but may be tinted toward the topcoat color with up to 2 oz (59 ml) universal colorant per gallon. Low 100 VOC per gallon. Dries to touch in 30 minutes, recoat in 1 hr, stain sealing in 2 hr, and full hardness in 7 days. Easy soap and water clean up. Gallon.
Water-based primer, sealer, stain, and odor blocker is engineered with a new technology that allows it to compete with the performance of oil and shellac-based primers in nearly all stain blocking, odor sealing, and tough adhesion situations. Blocks tough stains; rust, smoke, ink, felt marker, and pet stains; seals fire, smoke, cigarette, and pet odors; andadheres to multiple substrates including glossy surfaces. Recoat in 1 hr. Dries to a flat white film that can be topcoated with any latex, alkyd, or oil paint. Helps prevent cedar and redwood bleed through. Can be tinted. Clean up with mineral spirits/paint thinner. A flat, white primer for every interior surface, even metal or glass. Closes the pores of most surfaces and prevents bleeding stains, sappy wood from ruining paint job. Covers crayon marks, grease stains, dark wallpaper designs, etc. Made with a base of pure shellac, and dries in 45 minutes. May be applied with brush, roller, or airless sprayer.
